Privacy

The short version: everything you paste stays in your browser, there are no accounts, and visits are counted with Google Analytics, which you can turn off. The site shows ads from Monetag, an ad network.

What the tools do with your input

Every tool on this site runs in your browser, in the page itself or in a Web Worker served from this site. Text, files and images you paste or drop in are processed on your device and are not uploaded. The site has no backend: it is a set of static files. The tools' own code never sends your input anywhere, and the analytics code never receives it either. The ad scripts described under Advertising below are third-party code that runs in the same page, so the page's Content Security Policy has to allow them to load from, and connect to, other sites. If you paste something sensitive, use a browser with the ads blocked or the Chrome extension, which has no ads.

Input is kept in memory while the tab is open and is gone when you close or reload it. Nothing you type is written to cookies, local storage or any other storage.

What is stored in your browser

The ad network may also store cookies or local storage of its own in your browser (see Advertising below). Clear your site data to remove them.

Analytics

This site counts visits with Google Analytics 4. It is on by default and loads on every page, unless your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control or you have opted out; then the analytics code is not loaded at all.

What is collected

What is never collected

Retention and processor

Google Analytics keeps event data for the retention period set in its admin settings (2 months by default and at most 14 months). Google processes the data on behalf of this site; see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Advertising

This site shows ads from Monetag (an ad network) through its Multitag script, which can show several formats: banners, pop-ups or pop-unders that open another tab, and requests to allow push notifications. The ad script loads from Monetag's servers when a page opens, so Monetag and the advertisers it works with receive your IP address, browser and device details, and the address of the page you are on, and may set cookies or other identifiers to choose and measure ads. Their data practices are set by Monetag's privacy policy, not by this page. This site does not send Monetag anything you type or paste, but because the ad scripts run in the page, treat the site as you would any ad-supported page.

To avoid ads, use a content blocker, block third-party cookies, or use the Chrome extension, which has no ads. Ads are not shown in the extension.
