Cron Expression Explainer
Explain a cron expression in plain English and list the next run times.
About this tool
Paste a cron expression to read it in plain English and see the next five times it runs. Five fields are expected, with an optional seconds field in front, and shortcuts such as @daily and @hourly work too.
When both the day of the month and the day of the week are set, a day counts if either one matches, as in the classic Vixie cron. Run times are shown in your browser's time zone, and the server that runs the job may use another.
How to use it
- Paste a cron expression with five fields, or six with seconds first, or a shortcut such as @hourly.
- Explain it.
- Read the schedule in plain English and check the next five run times in your time zone.
