About this tool

Paste a Unix timestamp or a date string and see it in UTC, your local time zone and any other IANA time zone. Epoch values are detected as seconds, milliseconds, microseconds or nanoseconds by their size.

The result also shows a relative description such as 3 hours ago, which makes it quick to check whether a log entry or token expiry is in the past or the future.

How to use it

  1. Paste a Unix timestamp or a date, or use the current time.
  2. Optionally type an IANA time zone such as Europe/Berlin.
  3. Convert to see the date in UTC, your local zone and the zone you chose, plus how long ago it was.

Example

Input:

1700000000

Detected as epoch seconds:

2023-11-14T22:13:20.000Z
