About this tool
Turn text into its UTF-8 bytes written as hex or binary, or turn such bytes back into text. Each character becomes one or more bytes, so an accented letter or an emoji gives several groups.
When reading bytes you can separate them with spaces, commas, colons or new lines, add 0x prefixes, or paste one unbroken string. Bytes that are not valid UTF-8 are reported instead of being replaced. Input is limited to 1 MB.
