Source Map Explorer
Check a source map, look up minified positions in your original code and back, and see what a public map exposes.
About this tool
Paste or open a source map to check it, count its sources and mappings, and turn a position in the minified file into the original file, line and column, or the other way round.
It also shows what the map gives away if it is public: the full source code it carries and file paths from the build machine. The code is only shown as text, nothing in the map runs, and URLs in it are never fetched.
The map is decoded in a background worker on your device. Maps over 30 MB are refused before they are read, and decoding is stopped after 30 seconds.
