Stack Trace Analyzer

Paste a stack trace from Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Node.js: frames, your code vs libraries, recursion folded, likely origin.

About this tool

Paste one or more stack traces from a console, a log or an error report. Each is split into frames, labelled as your code, a library or the runtime, with repeated recursion folded, and the first frame in your code is named as the likely origin.

The likely origin is a guess: a stack shows where an error was thrown, not why. Home folder names, e-mail addresses and secret-looking values are masked in the summary, but read it before you post it. At most 1 MB is read. Source maps are not applied on this page, and nothing is fetched or uploaded.

Capturing errors from the page you have open and mapping minified frames with source maps are features of the DevKit Forge browser extension.
